Adventureland Theme Park

Found on West Main Street, Adventureland Theme Park offers a variety of family-friendly activities for kids of all ages. They can try their hand at some bumper boats with built-in water blasters or race around the go-kart track. You could challenge each member of the family to a round of miniature golf.

Dothan Area Botanical Gardens

Consisting of 50 acres of cultivated gardens, nature trails, and wooded landscape, the Dothan Area Botanical Gardens strives to preserve the native plants in the area. Founded in 1991, the gardens have grown to include 24 massive gardens. Bring your entire family to this nonprofit found on Headland Avenue and enjoy free daily admission.

Landmark Park

The 135-acre Landmark Park, found on Landmark Drive, has something for everyone. You and your family can enjoy a picnic, walk along the boardwalk, and hike a nature trail. For a little history, you can learn about the night sky at the park’s Digitarium Planetarium or visit the 1890s living history farm complete with an old farmhouse.

When visiting the Dothan area, take your little ones to Landmark Park and let them run around, bring your elementary-age kids to Adventureland Theme Park and have them soak each other on the bumper boats, or take your older kids to the botanical gardens. Whatever option you choose, you’ll create lots of memories.
