4 Ways to Spend New Year’s Eve in Dothan

Chill Lounge nightclub at 164 South Foster St. is hosting one of the hottest New Year’s Eve events in all of Alabama, featuring the state’s largest confetti drop. Enjoy live music, DJ sets, free party favors and a champagne toast. Doors open at 7 p.m.

2. Celebrate With Princesses

Dothan Princess Parties is hosting a family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebration at Taj Restaurant and Bar, 3102 Ross Clark Circle, from 4 to 8 p.m. and will feature your kids’ favorite characters, a full buffet, dancing, a balloon drop, face painting, and a photo booth. Tickets are available online.

3. Enjoy a Romantic Evening

Bella’s at 111 West Troy St. is one of the finest restaurants in Dothan, making it the perfect place to ring in the new year with someone special. A cost of $25 per person includes live entertainment, light appetizers and a bottle of champagne; a limited menu of Bella’s signature gourmet dishes will be available for order.

4. Experience the Countdown

This year, downtown Dothan will host its second annual New Year’s Eve countdown. Beginning at 7 p.m. and lasting through midnight, the event will feature a family fun area, balloon release, live music, and a midnight fireworks show and peanut drop. As you celebrate, enjoy festival food and visit local vendors.
