Freedom Fest at Fort Rucker

Start your holiday a night early with a trip to Freedom Fest at Fort Rucker. The event is free and open to the public. It is at the base festival fields. There are activities for the kids and a variety of vendors to check out before the band begins to play. Keep in mind there are no coolers, backpacks, or glass containers allowed. However, bring your favorite blanket or beach chair to relax and enjoy the show. The event begins at 4 p.m. with fireworks starting just after sunset.

Landmark Park

The Fourth of July party is at Landmark Park. The celebration begins with a reading of the Declaration of Independence at 10 a.m. There are a variety of events and vendors waiting throughout the day. Admission is $4 for adults and $3 for kids.
