The Star Safety Program Explained

Each and every new Toyota is equipped with the Star Safety Program. That’s right; it comes standard in all new vehicles, which makes Toyota the first ever manufacturer to offer a full safety program as a standard feature in all of their vehicles.

What does the Star Safety System offer? Here’s a closer look:

All cars come equipped with an antilock brake system, which prevents the brakes from locking up and avoids skidding.
Vehicle stability control, which automatically reduces the power in your engine and applies the brakes when the car senses that you have lost traction.
Brake assist, which is extremely useful if you are ever in an emergency situation. Should you slam on the brakes, the brake assist will add even more force, which helps your car stop faster and prevents collisions.
Traction control, which allows you to regain control of your vehicle if you are every caught hydroplaning, skidding across ice or if you are in any other slippery situation.
