Founded in 1995, Dakota Coffee Works is the real deal. They started out in an industrial park on the south side of Dothan and made a name for themselves.They’re known for their freshly roasted coffee, but you can also pick up a sandwich, soup, ice cream, or pastry while you are there. They also treat customers like family, which makes this is a cafe you won’t want to skip. Visit them at 4440 West Main Street 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays, and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.

Bird & Bean Coffee House

If you are looking for award-winning coffee, stop by Bird & Bean Coffee House. They serve Crimson Cup Coffee, which was awarded Roaster of the Year in 2016. Located in downtown Dothan, they have a beautiful location, perfect for relaxing with friends or a good book. They also have hot chocolate and smoothies if you want to take the kids out for a special treat. You can find them at 144 North Foster Street 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. They are closed Sunday.
