Spring Flower Show Make sure you visit Wetumpka for the Spring Flower Show at Jasmine Hill from April 6 to 29. The show will be open every weekend in the 20-acre flower garden, featuring colorful flowering shrubs. You can find roses, delphinium, double Japanese cherry trees, and different annuals blossoming. Tri-State BBQ Festival There is no better way of starting off the barbeque season than visiting the Houston County Farm Center on Saturday, Apr. 9. You can sample some of the best local food or take part in a BBQ competition for cash prizes. With about one quarter of all the nation's peanuts being produced in this area, the city has been labeled “The Peanut Capital of the World.” However, there's a lot more to Dothan than peanuts. JonJam The 10th annual JonJam music festival will be held on March 3rd at The Plant in downtown Dothan. This is an opportunity for you to watch local bands like Pontiac Stove Company, Lowdown Souls, and Spoonful James in action. You can also take part in the bike fest and watch the Chili Cook-Off. If you're bringing your kids, there are lots of activities for them to enjoy, too. Newsboys United Highly-successful Australian Christian rock band Newsboys will be playing at the Dothan Civic Center on March 24th as part of their United Tour. Catch lead singer Michael Tait and the rest of the band as they play their greatest hits and showcase some of their new material as well. Alabama Antique Trail Sale The Alabama Antique Trail Sale is held in March and September every year. More than 125 shops from across Alabama will take part in this sale, offering an extensive variety of antique items at very attractive prices. The Toyota Supra is a familiar name among fans of the popular automotive brand. However, the Supra of the past is getting a refresh and a brand-new name. Check out the latest features and updates planned for this stylish sports car. A Rich Heritage The Supra is one of the most beloved cars in Toyota's history, boasting plenty of impressive features and stellar performance. Beneath the hood of the past model was a twin turbocharged V6 and rear-wheel drive. The latest model is loosely based on the FT-1 concept, which debuted in 2014. All Sporty Features According to Shigeki Tomoyama, president of Toyota's Gazoo Racing division, “The Supra will be a pure sports car.” Although the full details are not available yet, it will come outfitted with an even more powerful engine and rear-wheel drive with a more mobile rear axle for better handling. Toyota is reportedly developing aftermarket features for improved style and functionality. This model will have a 50:50 weight distribution. Not at Production Level Yet The details of the Supra, or whatever it might be called in the future, are not fully available yet. The vice president of the Toyota Group announced that the specs are still being finalized, which is why the model will not likely be at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in early 2018.
